Things to Remember

Before sending your job, please take some time to go over our 'reminders list.' Following these simple guidelines will assist Whitmore Printing in processing your order.

Always feel free to contact Whitmore Printing with questions regarding your file submission. Call us at 717/399-3405 or e-mail us.

Always Send a Copy - Never the Original

  • Files sent through the Internet run the risk of file corruption. Corrupted files cannot normally be used. You minimize the possibility of Internet corruption by compressing your file before uploading it through the Internet.

  • Disks sent through the mail or courier service may be physically damaged or have its information rearranged by passing through magnetic fields or x-ray. Damaged files cannot be utilized.

Art in Spot Colors

  • Please make sure that the document prints proper separations in spot colors.

  • Jobs that are in CMYK or RGB cannot be separated properly for spot color application.

Include Supporting Graphic Files

  • Make sure that all graphics are properly linked and up to date.

  • Remember to check the documents links to be sure that no link has been modified or is missing.

Include All Fonts

  • Include both printer and screen fonts used by your document.

  • Include any fonts used by supporting graphic files if the fonts have not been converted to curves/paths/outlines.

Art Set Up to Size

  • Electronic art should always be set up to size. Please do not enlarge or reduce your art beyond the desired size.
